On October 26th, 2015, “Teplitsa (Greenhouse). Technologies for Social Good”, a Russia-based project that assists civic activists, NGOs, and social entrepreneurs with ICT and innovative technologies, is launching Paseka (Bee-garden) program to support creative agencies, web- and design studios in their pro bono efforts.
The project team will present an overview of the resources and mechanisms of Paseka, which include special certification and branding for pro bono services providers, a registry of providers, a database of existing pro bono cases, educational resources for NGO and agencies and a calendar of community events.
Following the project’s official launch, participants will discuss successful cases, issues, possible benefits for pro bono experts. The expected impact is that more creative and IT-agencies will get involved in pro bono projects, which will increase the efficiency of existing projects and therefore will support NGOs in making an impact.
